Father Kasey Gage was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He graduated high school in 1990 and attended Midwestern State University for two years and graduated with a Bachelors of Music from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1995. He attended graduate school at Stephen F. Austin State University for one year. After sensing God’s calling into the ministry, he left SFA to enroll at Dallas Theological Seminary. He graduated in May of 2002 earning a Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree with an emphasis in Church History.
Father Kasey began attending Church of the Holy Communion in September of 2004. He obtained his Episcopal training through Cranmer Theological House over the 2004-05 year. Along with singing in the CHC Choir, he has been the Youth Director at CHC since August of 2005. He was ordained a Deacon in April of 2005 and a Priest in May of 2007 at CHC and hopes to be the Rector of his own church in the future.
Father Kasey became the HCCA Chaplain in September of 2010. He will officiate the HCCA chapel services as well as teach a follow up bible lesson in the classrooms of the Pre-K and Kindergartner students. He also teaches a study fellowship class with the HCCA parents. Father Kasey is married to Karla and has one son, Calvin.
